Registration for Cool Stars 18 is open.

Early Registration Fee (Jan 28, 2014 - Mar 15, 2014): $575 - no longer available
Normal Registration Fee (Mar 16, 2014 - May 29, 2014): $625
On-Site Registration Fee (Jun 8, 2014 - Jun 14, 2014): $675

The registration fee includes:

  • Conference attendance and materials
  • Access to wireless internet at conference center
  • Opening reception on Sunday, June 8
  • Closing reception on Friday, June 13
  • Breakfast Monday-Friday
  • Buffet lunch during poster sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at HCCC
  • Conference banquet at Snowbowl, including transportation to/from HCCC
  • Light snacks and drinks during conference breaks
  • Tickets for the following events are also available through this registration site (space is limited for some of the tours, and tickets must be purchased by April 30, 2014): More information on tours can be found online.  Only ONE Wednesday tour can be selected if you are interested in an outing on that day.

  • Grand Canyon Tour on Wednesday afternoon, June 11: $135
  • Walnut Canyon & Sunset Crater / Wupatki National Monument on Wednesday afternoon, June 11: $135
  • Meteor Crater Tour on Wednesday afternoon, June 11: $100
  • Anderson Mesa / DCT Tour on Wednesday afternoon, June 11: $125
  • Sedona Tour on Wednesday afternoon, June 11: $100
  • Conference banquet guests on Thursday evening, June 12: $60 (One ticket is already included for each conference registrant.)
  • Grand Canyon Tour on Saturday, all day, June 14: $135
  • If you wish to purchase tickets for a tour or the banquet after completing your registration, please email cs18@lowell.edu to obtain a waiver code.

    Registration Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be received in writing or via email by May 1, 2014 for a full refund less a $30 processing charge. Cancellations received May 2, 2014 through May 15, 2014 receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after May 16, 2014, or persons who do not appear at the workshop are not eligible for any refund.

    Tour/Banquet Policy: Cancellations for tours or banquet guests must be received in writing or via email by May 1, 2014 for a full refund less a $30 processing charge. Cancellations received May 2, 2014 through May 15, 2014 receive a 50% refund. Cancellations made after May 16, 2014, or persons who do not attend are not eligible for any refund. Conference registrants who do not plan on attending the banquet or other events included in the standard registration fee are not eligible for a partial refund.
