Modeling the Coronal Spectra of Quiet Stars and the Maunder Sun using Solar Building Blocks

S.H. Saar, P. Testa (SAO)

We analyze Hinode XRT data of quiet solar features (coronal holes, quiet Sun, X-ray bright points) to (1) investigate to what extent these solar features can be used to model stellar X-ray spectra, and (2) to estimate what the solar corona might have looked like in a magnetic grand minimum.
