Magnetic Activity in Young Solar Analogs

Silva Jarvinen (Astrophysical Institute Potsdam)

Nowadays, the concept of solar like stars forms a very broad class of stars from late F to late G type dwarfs and sub-giants. These stars allow us to study the evolution of the Sun by choosing stars along its evolutionary track. Furthermore, observations of solar like stars provide constraints for theoretical models. Here we present the summary of the current knowledge of young stars that can be considered as young solar analogs.
