Welcome to the 2014 Lowell Speckle Interferometry Workshop
The
2014 Lowell Speckle Interferometry Workshop will be held on October 3-5, 2014, at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The Lowell Speckle Interferometry Workshop aims to bring professional, amateur, and student astronomers together in a synergistic mix that aims to consider science programs, speckle observations, data reduction, and analysis in a hands-on, informal atmosphere.
The workshop will feature weather permitting, speckle interferometry observations on Lowell Observatory’s 4.3-meter Discovery Channel Telescope in nearby Happy Jack. Amateur participants will also be encouraged to bring their own equipment for observing atop historic Mars Hill.
