RIMAS  Detector System

• H2RG detectors: 
  
• 1.7µm detector (YJ arm) and
  
• 2.5 µm detector (HK arm)
• Leach electronics
• Computer interface
  
• Detector focusing
  

• Each arm in the instrument is equipped with H2RG detector (shown in storage containers)

•  A separate Leach electronics readout system is utilized for each detector. A detector electronics driver unti is shown with a power supply.
  

• The software control is implemented using National Instrument LabView graphic programming user interface. The results of our previous developmen for the HAWAII type detectors proved robustness of this approach. A fron panel of the software interface for data acquisition system with H1R detector is shown below: 

• Detectors are mounted on a 1D cryogenic stages that allow for independent focusing. The design of the stages have been used before in the JWST microshutter project and recently utilized in the RATIR instrument
