Problem:This object did not move very far across the field of view during the 900 sec exposure. It is therefore likely that it is at a significant distance (farther than satellites and meteorites). Since the track of this object continued in the next exposure, it seems to be an asteroid. I have taken several images in which asteroids have showed up, but this was the brightest and longest (must be a fairly near earth asteroid). |
