Notes:

1-σ uncertainties on event times are of the order of half to two thirds of a day.
These times are computed for the best current orbit solution, assuming object radii of 80 km for Manwë and 46 km for Thorondor (the sizes are highly uncertain).
"Superior" events are when Manwë appears in front of Thorondor and "Inferior" events are when Thorondor is in front of Manwë.
Links provide a schematic diagram of each event in encapsulated Postscript format showing the motion of Thorondor relative to Manwë and the location of the shadow of the foreground object at the distance of the more distant object (scale in km relative to Manwë's center). Links provide a model lightcurve of each event as an EPS plot and as ascii data. These models assume spherical shapes and Lambertian scattering behavior.
