Who is this Mike guy, anyway?

Some of you who may have been drafted for Jacket Bearer duty may only be a friend of friend when it comes to our unwitting victim, Mike, so you're probably wondering who this Mike dude is, anyway, and why this is worth all the bother.

On the latter score, the short answer is just that the opportunity has presented itself, and that he's a pretty good sport.  At least, we sincerely hope so, since we're going to all this trouble - and the fact that he's packing heat, too.

Anyway, Mike is our buddy who's recently retired from the police force, and as such has his undercover jacket - or at least had it, until we pinched it.  He now is a full-time pilot, and we're all pretty jealous of that fact.

One point to stress:  Mike thinks he lost The Jacket, and we're cruel enough to let him persist in this believe - after all, it facilitates our fun here.  So mum's the word about the whole Jacket thing, s'ok?
