The image above is generated by a high-sensitivity black-and-white video camera (StellaCam II). Polaris appears to the far right of center near the top of the image on clear nights. The images are updated every 5 minutes at 1, 6, 11, 16...n minutes past the hour. The field is 77 degrees wide. The image above is generated by a color camera (D-Link DCS-3410) looking out the northwest window of the 42" telescope. This camera does not generate useful images at night (past civil twilight). Image updates every 5 minutes.
