GENERAL PUBLIC DAYTIME
 

Logo Doors are open from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Logo MARS TOUR 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM One-hour guided tour starts in the Steele Visitor Center then go to the Clark Telescope dome and Rotunda Museum, both of which are handicapped accessible.
Logo PLUTO TOUR 11:00 AM, 2:00 PM, 4:00 PM 45-minute guided tour goes inside Pluto Discovery Telescope and past several historic and modern telescope domes and otehr buildings
Logo At your leisure, you can explore the Discover the Universe exhibit hall and watch the 15-minute multimedia show Lowell Observatory: A New Century of Discovery in the Giclas Lecture Hall.
Logo When the weather permits, safely view the Sun from 12:15 - 12:55 PM.

GENERAL PUBLIC NIGHTTIME
 

Logo Doors are open from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.. Telescope viewing is weather-dependent and commences as soon as it is dark enough.
Logo At your leisure, you can explore the Discover the Universe exhibit hall.
Logo Experience the night sky with our 3D portable planetarium. Also view celestial objects as never before with our new Mallincam live video.
Logo The multimedia show Heavy Astronomy repeats throughout the evening in the Giclas Lecture Hall.

SCHOOL AND PRIVATE PROGRAMS
 

Logo A private, one-hour daytime program is $80.00, and includes two multimedia presentations and/or historic tours.
Logo A private, 90-minute evening program is $170.00, and includes one multimedia presentation and exclusive access to the telescopes for viewing (weather permitting).
Logo All private programs also include access to our Visitor Center's Discover the Universe exhibit hall.
